Making it interactive

Making it interactive

Collaborating with strangers can be awkward. You know it, I know it, we all know it.

Whether it’s solving a problem or brainstorming ideas, teamwork between people who just met 10 minutes ago is just kinda… meh.

You should solve that by getting participants to interact with each other early on and throughout the workshop. Read this guide and you’ll never run another ice cold workshop. 🥶

☝️ Hand-up to line up in the Queue

The Hand-up Queue makes speaker moderation a breeze. 🍃

In an engaging workshop it can get daunting to moderate all the different interactions on your own, especially virtually.

A quick trick to get participants familiar with how the Queue works is to ask an ice breaker question in the beginning of your workshop. This way, everyone not only does everyone get a chance to use their voice, but they also get more comfortable with using the Hand-up feature.

Some things you don't need to say out loud. 🙊

For the messages better sent in text, you have the option to write them in the chat for all other participants to read as everything else goes on. This is great for minor contributions that don't require everyone's full attention.
